Loyalty api - applying points and credits for transactions made

We are looking to retrieve the current points the customer has to show it at check out in our custom app. How can we do that?

It seems like as long as the loyalty is set up in the Square portal, we can count on points being credited the way they should be. Since we know the logic for how and when points are applied, we can show that at check out.

Seems that the loyalty API is not developed to the extent other items are. Just looking to find out what we can do and if it’s not through loyalty API, which API should we look to for implementing features that will impact and use loyalty points?

So are you just wanting to get an export of your customers Square loyalty points so that you can transfer them over to your custom app? Or are you wanting your app to coincide with the Square POS app and show in real time which customers receive X amount of loyalty points?

- This is preferred of course. Is there an API that can help us to perform this in real time, with two way synchronization. 

Hoping we can do this. Loyalty is so critical.

@Espressly If you want an export of your customers Square loyalty points, you'll need to contact our Loyalty team. They can get that info for you.
