Item search bar?

Is there a way for people to use a search bar to search through my items by name or description?

Are you referring to it Point of sale app or your online store?  Please provide some more information.

Yes I will have a bunch of images engraved in wood posted on my online store and was hoping visitors could either browse through them or if they were looking for something in particular they could use a search bar to search works on the title or description. I. E. They are looking for a floral image they type in " flowers" and just the 16 items I have with "flowers" in the name or description site in an easy to see list.

You have to love auto correct.

No there isn't a search function with the Square online stores.  You can however group like items together in sections.  This will then provide a dropdown option to view those sections.  So you could do all Flowers together, etc.  To do this just Click "Add Section" At the top of your store page or under your current section.

Hey @Noemie! The search bar in the app hasn't gone away. From the Point of Sale app:

1. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper left.
2. Tap Items and then tap All Items.
3. You should see the search bar in grey at the top of the screen:

The steps are the same if you're using a tablet. If you're not seeing the search bar can you reply to let me know what device you're using?
