How to remove the Covid-19 notification above my online booking system page, when I reopen and that my clients can go ahead and book their appointments.
Hi @Maxime213
Thanks for being patient while I looked into this with our Appointments Team.
You do have the option to remove that message.
Please visit the Covid-19 Tips section of your dashboard, and select "create booking site message."
You can then disable the message by flipping the blue button off under "Show a COVID-19 Message"
Hope this helped, please let me know if you have any other questions by replying to this thread.
For those of us still using the mini-site, there isn't a covid option any longer to switch on & off. We don't want to change to the new site yet as we have the mini-site URL advertised all over the place and aren't ready to update all those locations yet. We need to turn off the covid banner on our mini-site or at least remove the egift card button from the banner, as we have stopped selling ecards (need to make it easier to move an ecard from one account to another since most people don't seem to understand they need to use the recipient's correct email address - but thats a whole other issue) .
So how do we remove the covid banner at the top of mini-site now.

Hi Alex,
Thank you so much for your help in taking the time to figure out my situation, I really appreciate it! It helps a lot. I can't wait to reopen my salon business when its safe and letting my clients know that they can prebook their appointments when its time.
Take care and be safe!
How can I remove this message on our booking link:
Dear valued customers, Unfortunately, due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak we are currently closed and unable to take bookings at this time. This is a difficult time for our business, so we thank you for your patience and support. For our customers who've asked how they can continue to support our business in the meantime, please consider purchasing a gift card below.
We need to fix it so people can start booking again.
Hey @maneonparkave-
Please take a look at @Alex_'s best answer in this thread.
Here are some images to further help:
I hope this helps! 🌟
Im having the same problem and I no longer have the option to edit and remove
Hi there @SolomonandCo,
Do you mind sending over the link to your Square Online store so we can take a look at this for you?
As of April 27 2022 - going to the Covid-19 Tips - and Customization of a Message - NOTHING happens. 😞
Choosing this option either: 1 - shuts squareup.com down complete with an error message or 2 - the screen blinks and takes you right back the the Main Covid-19 Tips page.
I've sent an email to SquareSupport for help, but it may be while....HELP!
Thanks,
HealingTouchMassage
Christine
that option is no longer listed. help! my site says i require masks which are now optional. i need to update the heading about covid asap!
Hi there @Sherrilynne,
Are you able to visit the Square Online dashboard from your account? If so, from that dashboard, you will need to click on the Edit Site option to being editing the website. Once you are in the editor, you will need to click on that section, it will be highlighted and it is called the "Banner". After clicking, you can edit the wording, and once it is ready you just need to click the Publish button. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
@Ellie_ this does not work. Please help - really need to get this turned off.
Hey there, @paisleylash The instructions @Ellie_ shared are related to the updated version of the Square Online Booking Site. If you're still having this issue, I will suggest you get in touch with our appointments. They can look into this for you and assist in real-time. Please reach out directly by logging into your Square account and heading here.
P.S. Welcome to the Seller Community
This link is no longer there. I will screenshot my options . I need to edit my covid update! Help!
they've removed that option. How do we get it off our booking site?
There is a message that appears at the top of our booking page about how we had to close due to COVID-19 "until at least May 8th" (very specific!), and that our customers can support us by buying and eGift card and it has a link to our eGift card purchase page. I don't remember creating this message when we set up eGift cards or adding it to the booking site. Is there any way to customize or remove this message? I've looked everywhere in the gift card and booking site configuration options and don't see anything about this message. Can anyone help?
Found the thread you're looking for! I merged your post to it 😉

Ditto with the mini-site and not seeing any option from laptop or mobile. Did you receive any resolution?
Hey there, @Adeleah -
I want to recommend going to your Dashboard > Online > Page (Top Left corner) > Appointments. There you would see an option to switch off the banner.
Once you make those changes, click publish. Please let me know if that doesn't do the trick!
