@LuggageGuy The guts of the stand will work fine as the access to the chip reader is on the side. The interface is USB-C except for the ipad lightning port. I know the new stand has a wall mount option.

If your custom solution worked with the old stand, I am pretty sure it would work now, but this is still using the iPad.
