Is there a way to attach files so clients can download digital contect after purchasing?

I have several digital products. What's the best way to get the files into the client's hand after purchase? Is there a way to uploads files to Square's store so the client gets a link?

Kudos on your first post in our Seller Community @OrganizedDane!

I went to check in with our Weebly team, and Weebly does offer this function! If you need some detailed help in setting this up, feel free to reach out to their support team for assistance.

They don't actually. I followed both of your links and then the following directions, and I could not find anything. There's even one page that says the service I want is not available at this time - I am responsible for sending clients the link to download. So, thanks for trying, but it didn't work.

Did you ever find a way to process digital downloads? I have been getting conflicting information and I DO NOT want to switch to the Weebly store. In the age of COVID, we are converting many of our in person classes into video tutorials for digital download but I cannot find a clear path to do that.

@wsbolen No I have not found a way through the square store. The easiest way I've found (so far) is... Put all files that could be emailed into Google Drive (with link sharing on) then create and save email templates (easiest with Gmail) with the Drive links embedded in the email body. That way as soon as an order comes in, I can shoot the client an email with the correct link(s), no matter where I am/what device I'm on. I hope that helps

I really don't see why square doesn't have this ability. It seems easy enough to do 🤷‍♀️ Best of luck in these crazy times!

Hi @OrganizedDane and @wsbolen - while we do not currently offer an automated digital file send process, we're tracking interest in this feature over on this thread. We've bubbled up the interest in this feature to our Online Store team, so subscribe to that thread to be notified - we'll be sure to post an update there when we have one to share.

@OrganizedDane had a great suggestion here! Google Drive would be an excellent place to store digital files before sending them to your customers.
