Is there a calendar option?

I don't want an appt calendar - but a general calendar. Events, classes, scheduled meetings, closed dates, etc.

That's an interesting request. As of right now, we only have a calendar option for our Square Appointments product. 

I can see how having a general calendar that's tied into your Square Register app can be helpful to businesses.
