How to track the end of day deposits to the bank

So at the beginning of each day we want to have a set amount of cash in the drawer at the end of the day the goal (obviously) is to have more than that amount.  How do we track what cash we are taking out of the till to deposit into the bank each night so it doesn't show up as missing cash?

Are you using cash drawer managment? This will record the cash in, and after you count the till record the cash counted.

Yes I am using the cash drawer manager but my question is if I count down the till and then open it the next day with less then what it was counted down to the night before would cash show up as missing?

Great question @vrjunkiesslc! When a cash drawer is closed at the end of the night, it will not have any impact on the next day's cash drawer. Once a drawer is closed out, there is no further tracking and you start your next drawer with a clean slate. Cash drawer management only tracks funds while the drawer is open.
