How to stop receiving online orders on closed day?

Is it possible to prevent customers from placing online orders on the day the restaurant is closed?

Even though our operating hours are published, some customers place the order on our off day and it is automatically scheduled for the next business day, which is not the intention of the customer.

Short of actually disabling your online store, I haven't been able to figure out a way to disable ordering on off days. (To disable: Online Dashboard -> Click the button marked Accepting Orders in the upper right)

 

I see this on a semi-regular basis on my site too. Usually they're fine with coming in on the next available day, but every now and then I have to refund things.

 

What this really comes down to is the fact that people can't read and follow instructions anymore. 😞  I'm not sure if there is a way to further highlight the business hours on the webstore, but I know that the customer has to go through two screens (and an optional third) where they determine their pickup time. At what point do we just say "welp, you should have read the screen" in a more customer-friendly way.....?
