How do I create a free gift with a purchase over a certain dollar value promo?

I see that I can create BOGO deals and discounts/free items with the purchase of specific items or categories, but I would like to give away an item but only when a customer makes a purchase of $50 or more. Am I missing how to do this or is this not a capability within Square? And if not, why not?

We don't offer any functionality to be able to offer a free gift with purchase at this time.

That would have to be handled/tracked from your end separately if you chose to offer anything like that.

I would love this feature. It’s not possible to manage it solely on my end because I’d like to offer a promo code and have the credit “taken off” their total. It’s not something I would otherwise sell on my site and it would be for promotional use only.
