I've closed my restaurant and will be closing my account with Square. I think it's reasonable to want a full report of gift cards with numbers and balances so that I can respond to customer inquiries about refunds.
Square Customer Service refuses to provide a report with full gift card numbers and outstanding balance. Worse yet, the manager on duty won't even take the time to speak to me when requested.
This type of report is not unusual and is provided by other vendors. The POS system I moved from (Clover) has this as a standard report.
If a Square Representative can assist me with this simple request, I'd appreciate.
HI, hopefully this Square Support page will help.

Square Dashboard, Reports, scroll down to Gift Cards, far right Export
Thank you for responding.
]Unfortunately, it doesn't. So that I can verify future inquires from customers about gift card balances, I need a report that has the gift card number on it. These reports only show a PAN number.
If you search the Community for Full Gift Card Numbers, you'll see this thread with the answer.
Thanks for the reply. This thread does not provide ability to download the gift card data. The answer labeled as best indicates you can simply call support. I did that but they refuse to allow the square subscriber to have the gift card number in a downloaded file. You can only get the gift card number on line not in a downloaded file.
@dv1 SAME. I need the full 16-digit card number to migrate the existing gift cards over to our new system. After 40 min. of being placed on various holds with Square support, I was told this feature does not exist. They told me the solution was to continue to use Square ( ! ) for basically as long as it takes to redeem the existing gift cards, which is indefinitely. LOL. Such a scam, since I am the owner of the business it's my information, but sounds like square does not see it that way. Would never have signed up to do GC's on this platform had I known. It's a terrible policy. @JustinC just be honest - square doesn't allow this. Better than the continual brush-off with a solution that does not work. please update with an actual fix!
I have been battling the same issue. There is NO WAY that square does not have the FULL PAN numbers. How else would a card get run and recognized!!! Square PLEASE HELP not only me but the many other restaurants that have out grown your system.
