I used to use the Deposit Report but it no longer appears as an option.
How do I get a report listing every transaction including Square Fees and Net Deposit amounts?
Hello @jcgm @RTS1! You should be able to access the same report from the Balance section of your Dashboard - the Deposit Reports is now called Transfer Reports.
I'm sorry for any confusion! There's more information about this name change in this Product Update: Deposits are now called Transfers.
If you have any other questions please let me know!
Hi Joe,
We rely on Square to collect and forward payments. You collect, but no longer tell us how much you are sending us. This is completely unacceptable.
Is it merely an accident that the Deposit Report disappeared at the same time my bank balance is $6,000 less than what my Square sales report suggests it should be? Now I have to go back and add up every transaction for each day to figure out if you have indeed sent me what you should?
Maybe the missing money is due to the forced conversion to a new Xero integration (which benefits no one except Square). I hope it's that. I'll just spend the next couple of days figuring this out since Square simultaneously deleted the one report that would supply the needed info.
I wonder how many people are missing money and don't know it yet.
Please restore the 'Deposit Report' option with details and summary options, that include 'Refunds' for bank reconciliation. As it is refunds are not showing up in the Sales Summary.
Except it's not the same report at all. It just lists individual transactions and not the totals, nor the merchant fees, nor the returns. Each of those needs to be compiled separately and manually entered into a spreadsheet in order to tie the bank deposits to the individual transactions. This has literally tripled the amount of time it takes me to enter my client's deposits.
They can start calling 'deposits' 'transfers', I don't care about that. The issue is that the report doesn't have the same functionality. Why would they take away something that works and provides more information and replace it with something that doesn't work? This is a problem.
Hi,
I am trying to find a deposit report for November 2021. In my Balance window nothng opens with Transfer Report label.
Please help. I need the report asap for my mortgage application.
Thank you.

Welcome to the Community, @Marjo -
If you go to your Balance section on your Dashboard > click your location > See all transfers.

There it will show you an option to export your transfers into an Excel sheet.
Were you looking for a different report style?
I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.
You're welcome!
Please bring back the deposit report. The placement of the report now is ridiculous and very hard to track down. It should be under the Reports tab; not hidden away in the Balance section.
This report isn't even in the "Balance" section anymore.
Like others have said, call it what you will - Deposit Details, Transfers, etc - just make the report accessible again. I'm spending way too much time tracking the data down!
Hey @NPI_acctg,
The location and name of the report has changed, but you can find this under Balance > View all Transfers. From there, you can use view and export your transfers. Please let us know how you go 🙂
PS. I noticed it's your first post, welcome to our community 👋 🙂
