My previous company closed and I would love to change the account and company name to fit with the new one but it wont let me.

You're correct; multi-location dashboards will look and behave differently from single-location dashboards.
To change your business name for your multi-location account:

Did you get a working solution to this? I am having problems changing the business name throughout the entire Square account. Changes show up some places, but not in others.

We'll need to have a member of our Seller Support team take a closer look into your account settings to be able to resolve this issue. If you haven't already, please send them a quick note and be sure to include both the old and new business names. They'll get back to you with an update ASAP.
I am also having this same issue. My marketing and loyalty programs all show an older company name. I can't find where to fix this in the dashboard.

Hey @allenwalker73, you should see the option to change your business name under the Account & Settings tab on the Square Dashboard.
Your loyalty program should update and when your sending an Email Marketing Campaign you can manipulate the text in the design stage.

I am also having this problem. I have changed both my business name and email to something new. It shows correct, but when I receive emails they are going to the old address and they also have the old business name on them.
I only have one location and it has the correct business name and email. My dashboard has my correct business name. Is there a way to change it? (And yes, I've already double, triple checked that the location page and the receipt page is correct. It is). I really need to have this fixed. Thank you!

So....I was able to change my business name, but when I send someone a checkout link, it still says the old name under the link. It does not show the new name. How can I fix this?
