Can Square automatically apply a restocking fee for opened items returns? Would be nice to be able to select to apply a fee for the return or not.

I see how this would be useful, however this is not a feature we currently have available. I'll make sure to pass this feature request/suggestion onto the appropriate team, as perhaps other sellers would find this feature useful.
Because our system currently lacks this feature, you'd have to charge them for the fee within a separate transaction.
I have looked for this feature within the square app and I finally found my answer! I also would find this feature extremely useful, as it is one of the terms on our return policy. Hopefully it's incorporated onto the app in the near future.
As for now I have tried to apply it as a service fee, but I have not been successful with that either on our square register. Is this something that is only available for specific plans?
