Can I use my square card without a linked bank account

I I am midst changing banks and unlinked my account. I then was going to use a temporary secondary bank and started verification process. I decided against and manually stopped my verification process. 

I have always had a square card. So my question is can I use my square card as I have always

I believe that you are going to need to at some point, reconnect an external bank account as this is a requirement to use Square.  

Square requires a transactional bank account that allows for deposits and withdrawals (in case of refunds or chargebacks). Prepaid cards or online-only accounts, like PayPal, aren’t supported.
