@Sunlight - It should still be good to go. If you have a case or cover on your device, you may need to remove it so the reader can click all the way into place. Also, would you mind sharing the make and model of the smartphone or tablet you're using?
I have an iPhone 5s.
I discovered that the reader I tried to use is too old. I got a new one and it all seems to work fine now. Thanks
