Can I require a credit card on file via email if I book the appointment from my end?

I know that I can set my account to require a credit card on file when a customer books their appointment, but is there any way for me to book the appointment, and have the client enter their credit card number in to keep on file in case of late cancellation? 

 

Basically, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I don't really plant to use the client booking function, so I'd rather book the appointment myself and send the customer a confirmation. But if there was a way to require the credit card be entered by the client before the appointment can be confirmed, that would obviously be ideal.
