Can I connect a barcode scanner to the app?

I’am running a little shop in a golf club...
I would like to use a POS without payment (juste cash)
My problems is that to find the product on the list takes a lot of time!

Can I connect a barcode reader with the app? Always without credit card payment.

Yes, you can connect the following Bluetooth scanner to an iPad Socket Mobile 7Ci

If you run your iPad in a square stand then you have lots of USB options.

So if I understood well, I can put the articles on the Square POS app and then, when I scan the article, the app recognises it, right?

What about the barcode? How can I generate and print out the barcode?

Hello @Murghy!

In addition to creating items in Square, you'll need to assign each item with an SKU that matches the bar code label. The bar code scanner will then recognize the item by the SKU. You might find it helpful to read @FM's reply at the end of this thread for more information about setting up SKUs.

Square doesn't generate bar codes for you unfortunately, so to create your own bar codes and labels, you’ll need to use a third-party application and printer! We don't official support a bar code printer, but some sellers have used the Dymo 450 label printer.

Can u use any Bluetooth or wireless bar code scanner with the Square APP? I do not have square stand or anything like that, ONLY the card reader ( magstrip reader only ) the one u plug into ur phone, tablet, or iPad ( the free ones ). Please help ASAP needing one like yesterday!! Thank u!
