I'm new and have been using Square Stand for almost a month. I used the template to load all of my inventory. Unfortunately, there is still human error so I thought getting a barcode scanner would eliminate that. But I wanted to verify before making the purchase and I cannot find the answer. Once inventory has been loaded, how to go about to connect/associate the items so the barcode scanner will read them? I thought I could just open the item, click on something and then scan the UPC on the package, then click save. Nope! Apparently, it's not that easy. Does anyone have the answer to that?
