Adding Barcode Scanner support?

There are many apps that currently utilize the camera of a phone/ipad turning it into a barcode scanner.  Are there any plans to allow Square to access an ipad camera and use it as a barcode scanner rather then having to buy another piece of equipment?  I realize that the amount of people small enough to not want to invest in a larger POS system but big enough to be doing business by barcodes is probably not a huge number, but it seems like that would be the kind of tech you would want to add to Square as it could streamline and simplify the whole process.

At this time, the ability to scan items using your mobile device's camera isn't available.
