I have a water store and I started using Square's GC as a work around for membership. The traditional way membership work is customer signed up, pre-paid, and then I issued the card with "x" amount of gallons listed on the card. Every time a customer comes in to fill up water, I then cross-out the amount of gallons that they used. The same can be achieved with Square Gift Card. Every time a customer use the gift card to fill up water, I deduct the dollar amount. The receipt will print the remaining gift card balance. Is there a way to change the dollar amount to gallon on the receipt? Currently, I just take the remaining dollar amount shown on the receipt and divide it by the cost per gallon (that I charge) which then give me the total gallon remaining. I'd like it to show up on the receipt without me manually converting it and writing it on the receipt.
