what is the problem with this company?????

SQUARE PROMISED ME THAT THWY FIXED THE ERROT THAT SENT A RECEIPT TO THE WRONG INDIVIDUAL. APPARENTLY NOT...AS IT JUST HAPPNED Again and i cant control it.

Hello @cowendesign I'm sorry you had this error happen to you. Can you explain a bit more about this and maybe I can offer some places to check on this issue. How is this customer paying you? In person? Website? Invoice?

 

Are you assigning a specific customer to the transaction prior to accepting payment? You should be able to check your customer directory, and see any contact/email information is specified. if so, you should be able to edit it. If you are not able to see or edit the customer's email, they may have originally inputted an incorrect email for themselves. Did the customer receive an emailed receipt from Square? If so, there should be a link in that receipt to change their preference, and perhaps edit or change their email address.

IT WAS ALREADY FIXED LAST MONTH BY SQUARE. THIS IS THE MOST F/U CMPANY IVE EVER COME ACROSS. THEY MAKE SURE THEY DONT HIRE PEOPLE TO ANSWER PHONES AND SPEAK ENGLISH. WENT IONTO SETTINGS AND CHANGED THE EMAIL ADDRESS. BTU IT DIDNT STICK AND NOW THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS WAS USED AND I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL TO STOP IT FROM HAPPENING.. I CAN LOSE MY CUSTOMER OVER THIS....BECAUSE THIS F/U'D CMPANY DOESNT KNOW THEIR BUSINESS
