SCAM CARD WAS PUT ON FILE FOR APPOINMENT AND CANNOT BE CHARGED FOR NO-SHOW

The system that receiving and evaluating cards for the Appointments is a waste pipe. It turns out that Square does not check the cards for validity for securing the scheduled apps, and in the case of a no-show, you simply lose the full amount that you "are not able" to charge a fee because Square took the scam card on file. The support team ignores you and you keep losing money. Someone can advise a more trustful service?

Square, my experience with you is nowhere worse

Square does not check anything for validity. They simply disregard any flags, let it through and stick it to you. Square don't care.

Heads up.  There is a scam from Lynn Brenda who is hearing impaired (and a Google search turns up a real Lynn Brenda who is hearing impaired and I feel sorry for her).  I'm not sure what the scammers want, our address, email, and phone number are public and I sent them an invoice from Square which they never paid.

Oh, and she has cancer and is in the hospital getting prepped for surgery.  Anyway, didn't hear back from her for about a month and then we got an email from her that was exactly the same one that started the initial round of communication.  It didn't feel right at the time, but we thought maybe she was out of her mind on painkillers.  Google search about the scam eventually turned up someone else who got basically the same email except she wanted painting lessons for her kids instead of drum lessons.

So sad that we have to be on our guard against these kinds of people.
