I run a community group and occasionally sell items at fairs and events to generate funds for the group.
Square send me a message saying that they wanted details of a second controlling member of my group. I advised them that it was just me that ran the group, but Square wouldn't have it and sent notice that they were going to deactivate my account.
I complained to customer service who said that they would look into it. Square responded by saying they will be deactivating my account because I have contravened their T&C's. When asked which T&C's they stated 'Due to obligations with card networks we cannot elaborate'. ?!?!?!
I spoke again with customer services (who are very polite but of on real use) and they just seem transfixed on me giving them details of a second controlling member of my group. THERE ISNT ONE ITS JUST ME!!!!
