Cutoff "Shipping" option from Square Online

Our current online store only allows "Pickup"...  However, when the website loads it gives the option for "Pickup" and "Shipping".  I would like to completely remove the "Shipping" option so it doesn't confuse people.

 

Is there a way to cut to off completely?

There is no way to delete this address once it is in... There is no option to delete under "Edit".

Hey there @egmorgan.. Since my online store is also F&B related, I checked everything.  There is actually no setting to "turn off" shipping globally for our stores.  Also, that address you pointed out is definitely NOT the issue, since I also have it on my account.  So....

 

My suspicion here is that if you have even one item in your catalog that erroneously has the shipping fulfillment method turned on, this will automatically enable shipping for your store.  To fix this, go to your item catalog page.  Select all items then click Actions > Update fulfillment methods."  Check any of those that your use for your store, being sure Shipping is not checked.  Then click Update.

 

Give it a few minutes to propagate to the servers.  I usually wait 5-10 minutes.  Then go to your store and see if that fixes the issue.  Let me know.

Your suggestion solved a most of the issue...  If I choose "Shipping" on the Order page (popup) the website actually shows me what items are marked for "shipping" (only 5 items)...  I went back through the catalog and made sure these items are "pickup" only...  I suppose there is another bug in the online side... This is the 3-4 big I have found.

 

I guess I will try and talk to Advanced Support...

@egmorgan You're welcome.  I'm glad there is some progress.  Still, it is weird that your store shows the option tor shipping/pickup in that popup window.  Mine doesn't even HAVE a popup window like that.  I seem to recall that you might be able to actually delete that popup (I believe that I did years ago, but don't hold me to it. Ha.)  

 

That begs the question -- do you ever plan to have more than one location on this Square account?  If not, do you have a "page" in your square online site that says something like "location picker?"

Here is an update...  I chose "Shipping" at the online order popup...  it shows me the items have shipping tagged in the system.

 

For the remaining 5 that I could not remove I had to go into each item and toggle off "Pickup" so there are NO fulfillment options checked... then I had to Save.  Then go back into the item and click "pickup" and then save again. This removed the item from the shipping options... so now when you click "shipping" there is nothing to choose... which forces them back to the "pickup" option.

 

needless to say, this is another bug... I am not sure how to report these issues.
