I purchased a paid Weebly plan two weeks ago so I could use my GoDaddy domain with my Weebly website.
I have followed the Weebly instructions on how to do this and failed.
GoDaddy live support have helped me. They re-entered all the Weebly DNS data and subsequently checked everything. Three days later - having given time for the changes to 'propagate' - it still does not work. When I type in my domain name address I get a 404 page not found message.
I have emailed Weebly support. Apparently I can expect a reply in 2 or 3 working days!
Please, can anyone on here give me any advice?
I have received a helpful reply from Weebly.
I was asked, as a first step, to unpublish my website and then publish it again. That was sufficient to cure the problem. No more 404 error message!
