Calculator for Cash Drawers

There is no way to count or track what is in our cash drawers. Numerous businesses could significantly benefit from a method for entering denomination counts that automatically calculates the total. Counting cash can be prone to errors, so having a clear display of the cash count can significantly aid in accuracy.

Another thing is, that the cash drawer should be automatically opened when selecting 'Start Drawer', as it prompts for the starting cash amount but I'm not able to know that without having the drawer opened. Currently, we have to select ‘Open cash drawer (no sale)' through the three dots at the top right of the screen, though this action results in an unnecessary 'No Sale' transaction that could be avoided. Not sure if there is a better work around for this.

Attached is a photo from our former POS system, showcasing the feature that enabled us to input counts for both the initial cash float and the end-of-day. I believe something like this should be added to Square:

This method simplifies cash counting and provides a detailed report for us to see.

I agree wholeheartedly on this feature request.
It would be ideal to have functionality to count the quantity per denomination of bills, coins and rolls and have it automatically totalalize the actual cash.

Secondly, to add, it would be great if there was an autocalculation of Actual Cash MINUS Starting Cash to indicate how much money should be pulled for a bank deposit.

This is an example of the current paper form we are using - since we have Square Register, we don't have another option on the device to do these calcuations.
