Currently to create purchase orders for reordering items from vendors, the user needs to create a purchase order, selecting a specific vendor, then add each item (related to that vendor) to the list.
Often when reordering for my store, I need to reorder multiple products from multiple vendors and it is not convenient to start my lists by vendor (and it is often not immediately known which vendor provides each item).
I have 2 suggestions for how to improve the current order system.
- Since the system already knows which product comes from which vendor, I should be able to just select items (or scan GTINs) and then the system creates an order for the relevant vendor and adds the item. Maybe the system can also ask for a quantity to order.
- Another solution would be that I could select items (or scan GTINs) and instead of creating an order (as currently defined), then the system would create a file/list which I could then manually sort by vendor. This file can be something that is exported to XLS so that I can manipulate it offline.
