Special Hours- Holidays & Odd Days

A feature similar to how you can limit dates for fulfillment, but in the reverse scenario. 

Example:

1. Our business is open Wednesday-Saturday. 

2. Thanksgiving this year is November 28.

3. We would like our preorders to be picked up Tuesday November 26 and Wednesday November 27. 

4. We need to open our preorders October 3 in order for us to be able to complete them on time.

5. I would like to designate Tuesday November 26 as a special hours day as it falls outside our normal days of operation. 

I do not want to change my business hours for the entirety of October simply because I cannot designate one day as being open outside of normal operations.

Thank you for sharing this idea, @sgbakery! I think this is a fantastic feature request.

If you know any fellow Seller Community members who would benefit from this functionality, feel free to tag them in your post. This way, they can share their thoughts too!

In the meantime, while this feature isn't available, you could try a manual workaround instead:

1. Set your special hours for Tuesday, November 26, in the Fulfillment Hours section of your Square Dashboard by navigating to Settings > Account & Settings > Fulfillment.
2. Add each Tuesday leading up to November 26 as a Restricted Date. This will ensure that customers can only place pre-orders for pick up on the Tuesday you’ll be working.

I appreciate that this method requires you to readjust your fulfillment hours after Thanksgiving, but it might serve as a temporary solution for now.

And I would like if different holiday calendars can be options like the Jewish holidays would have Hebrew-specific dates. So not just the gregorian calendar.

This would be very helpful for the same reason, similar scenario.   We close early on some Holidays.   Would like to set special hours for those days .   We are currently doing the work around.   however, this impacts future scheduled Orders for that day.

For Example.  we  close early at 4pm on Tuesday, December 31st for Holiday.   Normal closing time on Tuesdays is 8pm

A customer places an order on December 31st and tries to schedule it to be picked up  the following Tuesday,  January 7th at 8pm,  they cant because on that day Tuesdays are set to 4pm  closing.
