HI, in the past I have used BigCommerce, Shopify, PappaShop, Wix and many more smaller providers. Most all give free trials. It all depends on what you want for your business. It can be expensive because you are not only paying for their platform but many also start using their integrated apps that cost monthly.
I tried them all because I have utilized a personalized gifts supplier and most platforms do not have the ability to capture text or images. I am currently using the Free Online Square because it includes many options that other platforms charge for and have been happy with it.
Many other platforms do include designer pre-made templates to point-and-click to apply. Square does not. It is a bonus because it gives the business owner creative control and not cookie cutter design.
