I somehow toggled off this feature and would to reactivate it. I’m using an iPad on a Square Stand, hooked up to a Star TSP100 printer. Thanks!
On your device's app, click the three horizontal lines (menu), then tap Settings, then Signature and Receipt. There are three options for receipt printing:
Activate the one that you want and you're good to go.
Thanks for the quick response but I’m unclear how that resolves the issue. We have never changed the setting from require signatures over )25, nor do we desire to. We just want it to print the receipts every time without us asking, like it used to. Am I missing something?
I don't know - I'm not experiencing this issue. However, other people here have had problems lately with the app not saving their choices when they change them, but not on the receipt printing facility that I've heard of. Have you checked to see if the setting is being somehow changed? Your issue may be related to the other one (which, if you're interested, was on the Sales Report setting of This Device Only - those people were experiencing that being toggled on, which threw off their sales reports.) Square has reported that the issue was fixed and the fix will be included in the next update released, so it's possible that your issue will go away also.

@Moondance Have you tried re-enabling the setting for that printer but the receipts still aren't printing automatically? We haven't heard reprorts of this particular issue yet and you're right your settings should save automatically (and not change)!
The printer will usually print receipts when I select PRINT RECEIPT on the final transaction screen. However, the preferred way and the way it used to be was that that prompt did not appear and receipts were printed on every transaction.
@Moondance Just to circle back to @ Helen's question, have you tried to re-enable the printer settings?
In the POS app, if you head to Settings > Printers > and under "PRINT FROM THIS DEVICE", you'll toggle on Receipts, Bills, Reports Etc > then you'll see the option to Automatically Print Receipts.
