Hello,
I'm trying to turn off the notifications that pop up everytime I go to use Square on my iPad. These notifications always come up when I re-enter the app and it really slows down service. I want to turn off the orange bar that pops up at the top and says "Printer Connected," and the notifications that say "Stand Connected" and "Chip + Reader Connected." I know they are connected; I don't need it to tell me every single time I go to ring up a transaction.
Thanks for your help!
You can't turn them off but what you can do is change the standby time of your iPad, especially if you have it plugged in all the time. If the iPad doesn't go to sleep you will not see the pop ups. You will always have the indicator bar at the top. And any time you leave and come back to the app you will see the pop up.

Is there any way around this now?
Thanks for checking on this, @Cornucopia. I went to look for updates and there haven't been any modifications on these in-app notifications yet. Hopefully the workaround from RHatch helps for now.
If there are any specific concerns about this that you'd like me to share with our Point of Sale Team regarding this issue, please let me know. We can ask them to take your insight into consideration for future iterations of the app.🙂
