@Wavechan That’s an intriguing suggestion, and I think you should submit a feature request to Square here. They will review it and let you know their decision for the immediate future. Be sure to expand on your request — why this is important to you, why it might make your customer relationship better, etc.
I’ll add a caution I have, though. It’s frequent enough that customers of mine get concerned that I “know” their email address or phone number for receipts. They don’t understand that when they’ve given their contact info to one Square seller, they’ve made it available to all of us. Sure, it is masked to the last 4 digits of their cell number, or c****@gmail.com. But it still concerns them. Before you submit this request you might want to consider how private people are getting these days. They don’t always like realizing that we track them. Just a thought.
