Square Card Import to Quick Books

I reached out to customer service for help on importing transactions from the Square Card into QuickBooks.  Anyone have a better solution than this?

Kyla here with Square filling in for Kate while she's out of the office.

We talked with our support team here and found that we don't have a direct way to get the information that it appears you need. I would suggest reaching out to Quick Books regarding this to see if there's another way to import the card information. A suggestion that may work is exporting your card spend data and importing it manually into Quick Books.

Please let me know if there is anything else that I can help with!

I have the Square Master card so I can use the card for purchases rather than transfer to my bank account. Square syncs with Quickbooks online and enters transactions in undeposited funds to be deposited into a bank account. My question is this, if I choose to purchase materials and supplies with my Square Card rather than deposit into a bank account then how can I sync those transactions with Quickbooks online?

Nice hearing from you @Kenkp5

Square Point of Sale, where the Square Card balance exists, syncs with QuickBooks but the purchases you make using the Square Card does not import into QB.

The workaround suggested on this thread I merged you to might work for you.

I have the exact same issue complaint.  What is the point of having a square debit card for expenses if those do not sync with quickbooks.  manually entering all the expenses will take significant time.  I guess transferring to the bank is still the better option when it comes to tax season. I will no longer be using my square debit card for business expenses if they do not import into square.  I will go back to transferring money from square into Bank of America and pay expenses from that account since t actually syncs ALL the transactions, not just the sales revenue in and bank transfers  out.  without this feature, the sync to quickbooks is basically useless.  It's much easier to add one line of income from the 1099K into quickbooks rather than every single expense transaction made from the square card.  How exhausting.  Square continues to disappoint, now charging monthly plan fees in addition to all the transaction fees they already take in addition to the other features we use and pay for such as loyalty.  Square is getting greedier and greedier.  Qukbooks and Square sync is a joke!
