Square For Restaurants - Updates, Changes, Comments?

Hello!

We have been Square customers for a long time, and also used Square for Restaurants for over a year.  Unfortunately, we switched to another system for the past year, and it was a MISTAKE!

We are thinking of switching back, and I would like to hear some feedback on any new features, updates, etc. that may have improved Square for Restaurants in the past year.  (An example might be - improvements to the check splitting options ... or the addition of a "Split Item" feature?)

Anything that jumps out to the sellers community as noteworthy.
