Looking for Annual payroll report?

Is there one annual report that includes all info of quarterly 941 and UI-3/40 employer’s contribution and wage report?

Hi @GFM - 

So there is not one report per se, but you could run a custom Employer Taxes Report for each Quarter.

 

To download a custom report:

  1. Sign in to the History section of your Square Payroll dashboard.
  2. Click on Export Custom Report.
  3. Select a date range and report type:
    Paycheck Details: Shows all paychecks with pay dates in the selected period.
    Employee Totals: Shows the totals by employee for all paychecks with pay dates in the selected period.
    Company Totals: Shows the company pay and tax totals for all paychecks with pay dates in the selected period.
  4. Click Export to download a spreadsheet containing your requested details. You can use Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets to open and view this document.

I am unable to determine what the transactions are on my bank statement and what goes to PR Taxes (Fed and State), which transactions are for the PR services itself, etc.  I need to code these transactions to the correct GL account and cannot tell by the Note on the transaction what I am paying for.

Hey @barbaraluider  - does the Report generated by following the steps above give you the info that you need?

 

If not, can you explain a bit more on what you're looking for so I understand? Are you having trouble differentiating the cost you pay for the Payroll subscription from the Fed and State taxes paid ?
