Good evening,
I am going to be using Square for my POS system. My previous POS system gave cashiers/servers the options to "remove" an ingredient from an item which would show on the ticket.
If we have a sandwich on our menu which has the following ingredients:Turkey, Lettuce, Green pepper, onion, mayo (by default)
A customer wants to order the sandwich but remove one of the ingredients. Instead of typing it in the comments box "NO ONION", does square give me a way to set it up so that you can select "Remove onion" without creating a separate "remove onion" modifer? Does this make sense?
I know other POS systems will give you those options automatically based on the ingredients that are in your meal, but I don't see a way to do it with Square.
Thanks!
there is not a way to have a remove standard options without adding a remove onions modifier.
Here's what included in Square for Restaurants modifiers. Check out the "conversational modifiers" too!

Thank you - I just wanted to make sure before creating all day modifiers.
I don't know what additional features if any were add in the Square for restaurants that was recently launched. other than that I believe my answer to be correct.
