I got my square device already but opening is one month later. What should I do?

Hello, 

I got my square device already but there are some delays. So opening is dated about one month later.
What should I do? Should I return the device or can I keep it until I open the store? Is it okay?

And can I even try any credit card purchase even though I don't get the sales tax permission yet?

there is no reason to send it back.  just hold on to it and be ready for when you open.

as for test charges, only do one or two for a $1 charge on your own card.  using your card for anything more than that is against the terms of service.
