How to change the square password and email?
We recently took over a small bar/restaurant. We acquired the square with business from the previous owner. When we took over and purchased the business we change the bank account information on there. A lady came in and informed me that I should make sure we change the square password. She said she used to do the previous owners books etc. How do I change that stuff? And why would that matter if the banking account information is already changed in the system? Am I missing something?

If you don't change at least the password, then the previous owners still have access to your account, and if you don't change the email address, the previous owners will continue to get emails from Square at that address, so it's a matter of security. To change your email and password, from your PC Dashboard, click on Account & Settings and make sure you're on the Personal Information screen. At the top are the settings you want to change. When you change the email address, you will probably receive an email at the new address to confirm that you are you.
