How do I remove/hide previous employees from reports like the Employee Sales & list?

How do I remove/hide previous employees (that no longer work for me) from reports like Employee Sales and the Employee List in Management section?

At this time, there isn't a way to completely delete an employee but you can deactivate employees. Once an employee is deactivated in your dashboard, you can filter to show only active employees and even reactivate them in the future as needed.

What about inactive employees that show up in the drop down menu on the Timecards page? We've been using the Employee Tracking software since the beginning, and now the list of employees I have to look through before selecting the correct one is getting really long, because it includes all my inactive employees.

I see what you mean. We don't have an immediate way of removing previous employees from the drop down menu on the Timecards page. I'll be flagging this with our product team as I can see how an unnecessarily long list would make reporting cumbersome.

Hi Tom, we would like the same thing. It's been a year and still don't see an option to delete old inactive employee's.

I have the same issue but its not just on the dashboard.  It is on the POS too.  Employees have to pick through a long list when trying to print out their server report.  The majority of the names are ex employees.  Has this been  fixed yet? 04/28/2018.  Thanks, [Personal Information Redacted]

Sorry about this experience @Denial. Definitely not a great experience to scroll a bunch. I'll pass on this feature request to have the ability to remove ex-employees to our employee management team.

Yes please, It would be great to totally delete an employee which no longer works with us. 

I see this has been asked about for several years. Come on Square help us out on this one.
