How do I refund an overcharge without the card

I noticed the day after a charge that I over charged a customer. How do I refund the money if I don't know who the customer was and I don't have their card info (other than the last 4 digits)m

Have you checked your transactions for that day to find the one that was overcharged?  The transaction will probably show at least the person's name, since Square needs to capture that information on a charged sale.  If you have the name, it's possible you could track the person down, especially if he/she is from your area.  From your Dashboard, click on Transactions, then set the date to the day the sale was made.  You'll see a list of all of the sales from that day.  Find the overcharged sale and click on it and you'll see a replica of the receipt, and the person's name will be at the top if it was captured from the card.
If you can't get the name, you will not be able to refund the overcharge unless the customer gets in touch with you to ask about it.
