How can I check gift card balances from an iPad?

I have an i-pad and stand from square and we do gift cards, I can check the balance on my phone, but cannot seem to get the gift card on the i-pad to check the balance.  Am I missing a step somewhere?

Check a Gift Card Balance

To check the balance of a gift card, head to the Square app.

From an iPad or Android Tablet

1. From your item library, tap Gift Cards > Check Balance.
2. Swipe or enter the gift card number and tap Check.

From a Smartphone

1. From the keypad, tap Charge.
2. Tap Gift Card > Balance.
3. Swipe or enter the gift card number and tap Check.

Note: Tapping Clear Balance will deactivate the gift card and clear any remaining balance.

To check the balance on all outstanding gift cards you’ve issued to date, download the Gift Card Details report from your online Square Dashboard.
