How can I cancel/delete a personal event on calendar?

Can't figure out how to cancel/delete a personal event on calendar? I have scheduled and blocked time for a personal event that i no longer taking place. I don't see any evident options for deleting it.

@bodybyphaedra, are these appointments imported from your Google Calendar? If they're imported events they won't have the option to cancel on your Appointments Calendar since the event originated on another calendar.

Hey @Float44, I got you!

To cancel/delete a personal event on your Square Appointments calendar:

1. Head over to your Calendar in your Appointments dashboard.
2. Click on the personal event that you created.
3. The event details will open up.
4. Click on "Cancel Event" just below the title > confirm that you want to cancel.
5. It will remove itself from your calendar.

I created an event on my personal calendar which transferred over to my square schedule. I tried removing by deleting it off my personal calendar yet it wont come off my schedule. I need to take it off to allow my clients to book online. Any tips?

Hey @HairbyBryanDean - Are the events that you are attempting to delete synced from your personal Google Calendar? As others have stated above, you would have to remove it directly from your personal calendar and that should update on Square Appointments. If that does not work for you, please contact our Support Team directly and they can help you investigate further.

Heres a thought, if it is posted using the scheduling portion of the site, then keep the control of deleting and editing these items there. Rather than making this more complicated than it needs to be. 
Heres another thought. How about some educational information that is easier to find than having to go thru all this.

Hi @lgrisola - Are the appointments you want to remove from another calendar (like your Gmail)? If so, you will have to go into your Gmail calendar settings to remove the appointments. @Chad, @puka, and @Helen have listed instructions for how to remove these.

Hey @michele628 - Were you able to check out any of our previous suggestions about making sure that these events are not being synced from your personal Google calendar?

If you're still having issues, reach out to our CS team who can put you in touch with an Appointments specialist.

when I click on the personal event somehow the cancel/delete option is missing..??

when I go to look at some of my other personal events I see the cancel/delete option you are referring to right under the personal event name., but for 2 different personal events in my calendar the cancel/delete option is missing!

Its preventing me from being able to even double book over it...so what shoud I do?

Are you trying from a computer? If so, can you try a different browser like Google Chrome?
