Does Square Cash offer a gratuity option so my customers can tip me?

Does Square Cash offer a gratuity option so my customers can tip me and if not, how can I use Square to offer a gratuity option other than the Square reader?

I often send Cash links to customers by phone and had a customer ask me how she could tip me.

Thanks for the follow-up. Do they not feel comfortable adding that to the amount they're sending you? They could include a short note with the transactions to clarify.

I suppose that is one option and I will let them know. Since Square offered it when swiping actual cards was surprised it wasn't also an option when sending payment links.

Have you considered sending an invoice to customer instead? We do offer a tip field for that.

I normally do that through the scheduling software I use but that's good to know and I may try that.

I drive Taxi.  I always bill for the amount shown on the meter.  I do not suggest my customers tip me because I think that would be awkward and rude on my part.  Nearly every time, people want to add a tip, but there is no prompt for a gratuity.  I won't run their card a second time for tip unless they insist.  It would be great if before signing, customers were prompted with a tip option.
