How do I change/update the primary photo for an item in my online store? I currently do not have the photos synced to squareup.
You can add/change/remove your primary item image by going to your weebly dashboard > select “Items” on the left navigation bar > Item Library > Find the item in your library by search or scrolling > select the item > select the upload photo button in the media panel on the top right to add a new image.
Those images should sync to Square once you enable that.
You can do the same process through the Square dashboard and that image will sync with Weebly’s library when that’s enabled.

I appreciate the info from @TBHospitalityNY . I should have been more clear about my issue. I already know how to upload photos for my items. I am having issues trying to replace only the existing primary photo of the item. I need to either be able to replace it with one of the other photos already uploaded without losing or deleting the primary image for that item, or I need to be able to add an additional new photo of the item as the primary photo, also keeping the current primary photo as secondary image. I have tried to drag and drop to move the primary photo around but it does not work. I am able to delete or rearrange any of the other photos I have already uploaded to my liking, just not the primary one!

@Alex_ so I theoretically can do it in the Weebly app, which I downloaded this morning. Except that the app is absolutely horrible and glitchy and keeps crashing. Please advise.
