Can I set up a store-wide discount for my Square Online shop?

How can I set up a shop-wide discount (for instance: 'everything in the shop 10% off for a limited time!'). There are some old posts about doing this that have outdated information from several years ago, or only seem to refer to brick and mortar stores. I can not see any links that would allow me to add a shop-wide discount on my dashboard. I don't want to set up individual coupons or promo codes, I'd like to temporarily put all the items in my shop on sale for xx% off. Is that possible?

No, that doesn't work for me - I followed the instructions in the article, but when I go to "Online/Items" it doesn't show any link for "Discounts"

From your online Square Dashboard

1. Visit Items > Discounts in your online Square Dashboard.

2. Click Create a Discount.

It only shows "Site Items", "Site Categories", and "Customer Reviews". Clicking on "Site Items" only brings up the list of all the items in my store.

HI, its your Square Dashboard, not the Online Dashboard.

From your Square Dashboard, on the left hand side select Items & Orders, Items, Discounts

It seems "Discounts" can only be applied to POS/brick and mortar stores sales which I don't have - I only have a Square Online store. On the Square Dashboard the link to "Create Discounts" gives you this notice:

          Looking for online discounts?

           Discounts in Square Online are called Coupons, and are available for you to use for all online sales.    Your customers can continue to redeem Discounts for offline sales. Go to Square Online

So I tried following the instructions to create a Coupon:

         Start Creating a Coupon

              To create a coupon in Square Online:

1.        From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Coupons or Shared Settings > Coupons.

2.        Select Add Coupon.

But there are no links for "Coupons" under the "Items" list in my Square Online Overview Page.
