2022 mailchimp square item doesn't show up

Mailchimp has a new system for putting Square items on a landing page. I connected to Square using this new system as instructed.

I created a new item in Square but it doesn't show up in Mailchimp as a choice. Older items that have been set to "unavailable" do show up.

If I choose a product from the list that is "available", I get the message: "Button is disabled because the product does not have a linked page." Which means you cannot Buy the product.

Help?

Still working on this.

I created a Product page in Square/Weebly.

I choose the item/product I wanted but it says the Product I chose hasn't been published yet.

How do I publish a product? Maybe this is the issue?

Sure. I ended up deleting all items because MailChimp kept say I had 6 items but I only had 3. I thought it might sync if it saw that. I'll make the one I need. How do I share it for you? 

 

I also may have just found the problem, or A problem. The Square account attached to the Weebly account logs in with a different email address. I didn't sync the 2, it just happened automatically when Square and Weebly joined up. These accounts do belong together but the login is different. How do I fix that?!

Firstly, it sounds like you haven't yet created your Square login for Weebly. As part of Weebly's merger with Square, we ask that you update your Weebly login to a Square login so we can continue improving your experience and providing you with regular updates. You can learn how to update your login with these steps

Regarding sharing an example with us, we'd just need you to link your site in your reply, along with the names of the items that don't appear to be syncing with Mailchimp. We want to ensure your items are displaying correctly on the Square Online platform to rule out any troubleshooting steps on our side.


I've linked the troubleshooting steps for item visibility for your reference. Have a look at these on your end to see if any of these settings could be impacting your items.

Here is my status so far.

Square and Weebly are linked because I can hop between the 2. However, my square login email (my personal email) is different from my Weebly login email (group website email). I also see that Weebly sees my personal email as a contributor at the web site BUT there is also an option to switch to me personal email user and there is no web site set up for that. This might be the problem.

 

I now have only 1 item in the Square account. I synced it with the Weebly web site account. So only one item (Mailchimp still sees 6 items). Here is the link: https://www.weavingindiana.org/store/p18/2023_Weaving_Indiana_Guild_Membership.html

I will recommend you reach out to Weebly Support so they can take a look at this email/login matter with you @weaverMindy. I believe setting this straight will help with your issues with MailChimp.
