Hi @dave6288.  It loaded fine for me. Which leads me to suspect your browser cache needs to be cleared. Do that and try again. Hopefully it works. If not, let me know.

Hi Chip

I have tried to fix this for more than a month, very frustrated.

I have tried many browsers and incognito windows,   https://evdoctor4earth1.weebly.com/   Still no luck,  My Chrome browser has a "i" button that says the site is not secure. This only started since the Square acquisition of Weebly. Sometimes that can be caused by custom HTML code in the site that uses an http: "reference", I have reviewd the site and fixed quite a few but there must be more.  Is there a way to search my site for "http:"  that I might have missed.

or is there another problem?

Thanks

@dave6288.  There HAS to be another problem here.  I’ve brought your site up on Safari, Chrome and Edge.  All pages that I navigate to show that they are secure.  This strongly leads me to believe that this is an issue with your browser — like maybe something got corrupted in the Chrome’s memory on your device.

Is there a particular page you are seeing as not secure?  Or is it all pages for you?  Honestly, if I’m seeing all pages as secure on my browsers on my iPad and Windows laptop, I can’t see that this is a problem that any of your customers can possible be seeing.  Hence my suspicion that your browser software/cache has been compromised, or that you have some virus on your machine.

Please post a screen shot of one page showing the warning “i” button.  If I can’t recreate the error, I will tag the moderators to further investigate.  But, at the risk of repeating myself, the fact that I am showing NO security warnings anywhere (but that you are) is suspicious.

@dave6288 Thanks for the screen shot.  This is definitely one of four things that I can think of:

  1. Your proxy/firewall is somehow messed up and has blacklisted your site.  I can not tell you how to fix that, however.
  2. Try changing your internet connection’s DNS to the Google DBS servers — 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  This might be as simple as the fact you are using a DNS server that is not comprehensive, a problem with many default DNS servers that local cable internet companies use.
  3. This is a VERY COMMON Chrome browser error which has nothing to do with Square.  It’s a known issue in Chrome that has many causes and/or solutions.  Here is a link to open troubleshooting page, but you can Google “fixing site can’t be reached error” and you’ll find a plethora of articles that aim to help Chrome users with this problem.
  4. I still maintain that you should deleted the Chrome browser app from your computer and re-install it.  My biggest suspicion is that something is messed up in that app’s memory/settings and deleting/reinstalling is the quickest way to fix it, usually.  But, before you do that, you could try resetting your Chrome settings using these steps
