Self serve printing two tickets

Hi, I’ve recently started with square and have the self-serve QR codes on the table. Orders coming through from self serve are printing twice. Any body know why and how to stop it happening. Thanks a lot.

Hey @WillDee, thank you for flagging this. That is strange alright. 

 

Have any of your printer settings changed recently? Have you gone through any printer troubleshooting steps? What device are you using to send these orders to the printer? 

 

The more information you can provide, the better I will be at finding a resolution for this issue. Thanks!

Hi Skyler, I've just recently set up the printer. I haven't gone through the trouble shooting steps but will do it today. Its only on the self serve ticket. One says "ipad" and the other "ipad 2" which is odd cos there is only one ipad. 

 

Are you able to help with these other issues;

 

- make an item available again after it has been restocked?

- pause self-service when we are slammed/have run out of food?

Hey, @WillDee thanks for getting back to me. Happy to take a look into your other queries. 

 

1. Stock availability 

 

Usually, the item becomes available again automatically once it has been restocked. Where is this item still displayed as unavailable after being restocked? Are you using Square for Restaurants? Or Square online? 

 

2. Pausing self-serve

 

I can see that Breffni has provided a detailed answer to this question here. Hopefully, that should provide some clarity on pausing the Self-Serve feature. 😊
