I am a photographer selling prints on demand and in limited editions...I have no inventory...but I want square to help me track the number of prints that I sell...any suggestions or help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping that I can accomplish this without upgrading to Weebly.
Thanks
Ken
Yes @nsfotographi I'd put the number of prints available in your edition as the quantity. Somewhere in the description I'd let the buyer know that this is a print on demand product, so they won't expect it to ship immediately.
Hey there @nsfotographi Welcome to The Seller Community. Happy to have you join! Hmm, off the top of my head, I am not thinking of a way to track the photos if we technically won't be entering in stock for them. I am going to bring in some of our expert sellers and they might be able to shed some light @HC_Charlie @Doran @TCSlaguna @LukeNieuw. If I think of anything I will circle back as well. Thank you all!
Hello @nsfotographi are you selling your prints in person, or online? You can create items in your Square online dashboard and sell them on the Square App on your phone. This would work in you're selling in person; if you're selling online, you should be able to do this will your Square website that is included with your account.
See this post about adding inventory. If you're not sure about the specific images you're selling, but want to set up "sizes" of prints...you could create an item called "8x10" and "10x14" with specific prices per print. Then when you sell a print of that size, you could add a note to yourself about what particular image you printed/sold.
I hope some of these tips might help you get started. Good luck to you!
Charlie
Thanks for your response about inventory....let me explain my situation a little more.
Example...let's say that I plan to sell a total of 50 prints of limited edition and none of them are printed yet because they are only printed when they are ordered. In order to limit the sales to a total of 50...do I put 50 in inventory in Square even though I have 0 available. Hope this helps to understand my situation in proper management of inventory.

clarification...I want to use Square to sell my prints in-person and online
