Curious if anyone else has noticed that the total for all open tickets is gone. I used to be able to click tickets and see the grand total of all active tickets. I can see it on my phone. But not on the actual pos. I restarted the pos and it is still missing. Is there something I need to go back in and check

To confirm, are you unable to see the total for your open tickets on a Square Register? Or are you using an iPad or another tablet?

I also am seeing no total “All tickets”.

We also noticed that we can no longer see totals for open tabs and we REALLY need that feature back. It is definitely associated with the newest version 6.96.1so. We have one iPad that has not updated and is still on 6.92.3so and we are still able to see totals on that device. But as the owner, I want to be able to see that information on my iPhone when I am checking sales throughout the day.
Is Square working on getting this back and working soon? We use it all the time and it is not working on any of my iphones, ipads, or register at this point.

interesting. I don't recall ever seeing a total, but I only ever have 2-3 open tickets taht I close out once a week. I could see how that would be useful.
My small business relies on this feature to know how to best support our staff and to know how much traffic they are currently handling. Please bring this feature back as soon as possible...PLEASE!
My business really needs this as well. I can't imagine why Square would have eliminated it.

We're also experiencing this in Square for Restaurants on an iPad and Square POS on Android and the terminal. This is beyond annoying to be missing this feature. It's going to add additional time and risk human error to have bartenders tally open tabs to calculate pooled tips on crossover and swing shifts where workers do not work the same time periods. I also want to be able to see dollar amounts of open tabs remotely. Insane that this feature is gone. Consider this a formal complaint.
Any way we could get an acknowledgement on this issue from someone at Square? Just letting us know they are aware and what they plan on doing? If the answer is nothing, and this is just how it will be from now on, while not what I want to hear, I could at least stop checking on this thread.
Hi everyone. I would suggest reaching out to Square or to your Square Rep. I reached out yesterday and he helped me get it corrected immediately. Not sure why it's not automatic but glad I reached out directly.
Our Square rep said she would send it up to engineering. That’s all the response that we got. She said she could not guarantee anything.
How did you reach out to Square? Did you call the 1-855 number? I don't have a Square rep. At least that I know of. I haven't had great luck using the number in the past for issues.
Do you know what they told you to do as many of us are having that same issue? I’ve been with Square for eight years and I’m not even sure that I’ve ever talked to a rep.
